About us

Absurd Laboratory is established by Eric Wong in 2012. 
He believes life is not always as usual, but rather through trial and error, which can be full of absurdities. He loves exploring and creating new angles and perspectives on fashion, design and daily life. With ‘Life is Absurd’ as his design philosophy, he integrates the details, feelings and ideas of daily life into fashion design.
‘Absurd’ made fashion is highly wearable and experimental, while remains its uniqueness. Through the creation of Absurd Laboratory, he hopes to present his “fashion” from a different angle in every season.
In recent years, Absurd Laboratory is invited by Midwest, a local renowned vintage fashion store, to collaborate on a new ‘vintage remake’ collection, aimed to breakthrough from usual patchwork, military and retro style. Base on the fabric texture, pattern and colors of the vintage clothing, they create new vintage remake style with a sense modern chic from design and styling perspectives, and yet ‘one of a kind’. 

Absurd Laboratory由Eric Wong 創⽴於2012年。
他相信生活並不總是像往常一樣，而是在反覆的試驗和錯誤中渡過，可以是充滿著荒謬性的。他喜歡在時裝、設計和日常生活上探索和創造新角度及看法，並以「Life is Absurd」為設計理念，將平⽇⽣活上的細節、感受及想法融入到時裝設計中。 
Absurd是可穿性和實驗性的結合，同時擁有其獨特個性。他希望透過Absurd Laboratory的創作，每季都能以不同角度展現出他⼼⽬中的「時裝」。
其充滿創造力的設計獲⾹港著名古著店美華氏所欣賞，邀請合作聯手發展古著再生設計系列。嘗試打破一般古著重造固有的拼貼手法，軍事和復古等風格⾯貌，利用古著衣物的面料質感，圖案及顏色，由設計及造型角度演變出具現代感，時尚及別緻的再生古著，同時也延續了古著獨一無二的個性象徵。
